Article from Colorado Springs Gazette.
This is great news for the redevelopment of North Nevada Avenue. Both the city and the University of Colorado-Colorado Springs are working together to kick off the new research park, which as the article states will help bring 1,000 new jobs to the Springs. Additionally, this is good news for the long awaited retail development that's slated to go on the west side of Nevada Avenue. The retail development will be anchored by Costco, Gander Mountain (it would be the first of either retailer in El Paso County) and Lowe's and will have inline space and pad sites available.
